NEIL EVANS

Neil Evans is Managing Director SMEC Australia and is responsible for SMEC's operations within this region. He is also a Director of SMEC Holdings Ltd. He has a Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering) from the University of New South Wales (1976).

Neil has over 23 years experience in all phases of large civil engineering projects. These have included large dams, weirs, water supply, freeways, bridges, institutional and industrial buildings and urban infrastructure.

Since joining SMEC in 1993, Neil has developed within the company, expertise in all forms of delivery of large infrastructure projects including conventional Design, Design and Construct and Build Own Operate.

Neil is also Director of SMEC Testing Service (STS).
