You will have previous exposure to slope stability and
seepage analysis, Able to work within scope and budget. Knowledge of
geotechnical problems associated with tunnel projects (underground
excavation in soft ground and rock, excavations, diaphragm walls, piling,
cut-and-cover methods, settlement analysis, etc). Ability to work within a
multidisciplinary team environment on extremely large water, hydropower and
infrastructure projects (national and international). Keen to continuously
be exposed to cutting edge technology and corporate best practice. Willing
to keep on learning and broaden the horizon. Willing to undertake field work
on short to medium term assignments to verify design assumptions and/or
conduct investigation programs in sometimes remote locations. Ability to use
common office software and write effectively to furnish reports
We ideally seek a candidate of 5 -10 years experience with
exposure to heavy civil infrastructure projects. Experienced in planning and
supervision of geotechnical site investigations, laboratory and insitu test
programs in soil and rock. Experienced in ground characterisation and
establishment of geotechnical models in co-operation with engineering
geologists. Experienced in geotechnical design for water and infrastructure
projects,
