SMEC Australia's approach to land use planning is founded
on understanding the systems and interrelationships that exist between social,
economic and environmental considerations. A holistic approach to these factors
is needed to properly appreciate the benefits and impacts that individual
development/infrastructure proposals can bring. The interrelationship between these factors is particularly
central to the evaluation of highway projects and impacts upon land use
patterns.
SMEC Australia's resource base in land use planning is
substantial, with seven planning staff in our Sydney office.
Land use activities are supported by Map Info GIS software and GIS
specialists. | |
