KL Airport Express Rail |
| The Kuala Lumpur International Airport Express Rail Project is a $1 billion,
57 km state-of-the-art express rail service between the new Kuala Lumpur
International Airport and the city centre, being implimented as a Build Own
Operate Transfer project.

Sydney-Canberra High Speed Rail |
| The High Speed Rail Link Project is a 300 km long rail link between
Australia's largest city Sydney, and the capital city of Canberra. SMEC and
associate companies are lead designers for this $2 billion rail link that will
use French TGV train to provide travel times of less than 2 hours between the
cities and move the Australian rail system into a completely new form of travel. |

Parramatta Rail Link, Sydney |
| The proposed Parramatta Rail Link Project is a $1.4 billion extension to the
Sydney rail network linking Parramatta to Chatswood via Epping. It is the
largest single upgrade of the Sydney rail network in the last 60 years and
involves 27 km of new twin rail track, 19 km of which will be in tunnel, the
construction of 4 new underground stations and the upgrading of 8 more. SMEC are
providing all engineering support to the Baulderstone Hornibrook and
Bilfinger+Berger Joint Venture for the tender design process for the project. |
